So I watched Beaches for the first time the other night. Well, about 2/3 of it, until I fell asleep.I can see what you love about it so much-- two great friends spend their whole lives being bitter, resentful and jealous of each other. And then one gets a terminal illness and dies. Message- hate your friends until you learn they are dying.
Pros: The little girl actress playing Bette Middler looked like her. Good casting.
Cons: The rest of the film.
