I thought my peanuts books were comic books. I've got 5. They are books and they are comics. Therefore in my thinking they are comic books. What is a comic book for you?
It's confusing, but even though those Peanuts strips are now collected into books, they were originally published as daily strips in a newspaper, only 4 panels long: Comic strips.
When I say comic 'books' I mean the ones originally published as books, so the Marvel/DC etc ones which come out monthly as a 20ish page magazine thing.

if we are counting comic strips as well as comic books, Peanuts is my number 1. Krazy Kat would also be in there.
