4. details. would like to be more big picture and I work hard to see the bigger perspective of things so I don't get overwhelmed or bogged down in the little things
5. marry my husband

1. I watched until wills and harry arrived, then I went to a function at the church and the minister (my dad) wouldn't put it on.
2. wear what I wore when I was younger.
3. Playing games with family members or watching a movie.
4. details.
5. be myself and not have to follow the crowd.

1. Yes. AB gave the funniest fb commentary I read as we were going.

2. have cold showers in winter to wake me up extra early (when I was in highschool - I used to wake up at 5 with a cold shower)

3. Tricky one, cause AB works, and I'm torn between that being a good part of the afternoon, because I love what he does for work and think it's important, and don't want to be selfish with his time... but I guess if he were with the kids and I, and we were just hanging out together at a park, or beach, or home. If AB weren't around, a lovely rainy afternoon reading books to my kids and all snuggling under a huge doona.

4. can I be both? I guess more details than big picture?

5. change my priorities each day. Much happier these past few weeks as a result, and more satisfied.

1. For about 20 mins.
2. wear shoes 2 or 3 sizes too big and stuff newspaper in the toe
3. Chillin' with the girls, cooking a roast, watching the footy, pottering in the yard, having a snooze on the lounge
4. I'm not sure. I stress and obsess about small stuff while dreaming about future plans
5. Get working on my speech problem

1. yes
2. think a night out started at 9:30pm.
3. same as Ruth's answer. I am torn between wanting to have my whole family together on sundays and knowing that it is a good thing that Sam isn't with us. Ideal - hanging out with friends and family over a simple meal.
4. big picture. I'm terrible with details!
5. watch the wedding on friday

2. Squat with 32.5kg on my shoulders for 6 minutes.

4. Big picture.
5. move house last year.

1. No. I knew that there would be highlights and I could see the dress and the basic gist of it from that. I've seen Royal Weddings before, and they were all boring. I wish I'd heard the Romans reading though.
2. I can't believe I used to be normal weight and think I was fat.
3. A SCUBA dive or a swim in the ocean, with friends, followed by a snooze on the couch, followed by church.

4. Details. Absolutely. As I get more senior in my job I have to be more big picture, but I think I'm naturally very detailed. I see typos from everyone. I see small changes like haircuts. I don't dream much.
5. I'm glad I decided to run away from home at 14. I'm glad I decided to ignore my stepmother who said I should reproduce early. By now I'd have a 16 year old and most likely be single still!

1. So. Did you watch The Wedding? - We certainly didn't care about seeing which celebrity I didn't know attended so we didn't watch all the pre-lim and (slightly morbidly) we watched from when the bride entered the church to their saying their vows to see that nothing horrible happened to wreck their big day as some group were warning/hoping (possibly planning?), then we watched something else and then I watched the crowds patiently walk along the mall and the family come out on the balcony. How horrible is it that there were some people wanting to ruin a joyous occasion like a wedding just because someone is born into a celebrity family!
2. I can't believe I used to..run around at uni with a backpack on my back (ok, it was necessity to get to class on time, but still, run?! I just don't have the energy for that now).
3. Your ideal Sunday afternoon - currently is sitting on the couch with Ian, watching the previous week's murder mystery that we recorded. But I think I'd like even better if friends came around to visit and I could have a good reason to bring out the good tea service and eat home-made cake.
4. Are you more a details or big picture person? - details
5. I'm glad I decided to - pause while responding to this to hang up the laundry - make hay (or in this case, dry bedding) while the sun shines (especially as we don't have a dryer).

Aimee- I feel a similar way to your number 4 answer I think

Crazyjedidiah- I wish there was more board game playing in my life

Ruth- I used to be able to do cold showers. I am way too wimpy to do so these days.

Soph- One thing I appreciate about becoming a family man is people no longer expect me to be in party mode at 9:30. I used to try, but never really liked the late starts at all. I love a dusk start.

Jo- wow..so militant!

Simone- yeah, you always strike me as big picture

G- it's weird to think where you might be if you'd made different decisions in the past isn't it.

more tomorrow..

Pedro- 'Some of it' you reckon..

Maso- I share your number 5

Kim- aha. A pony girl.

Dawn- yeah.. I used to think arkansas and 'arkansaw' were different as well:)

Karen-It's not a good feeling when you regret a post. You just wish you could press a recall button. But it's already gone out.

Wendy- Reading in bed during the day is one of life's sweetest luxuries.

Al- I envy your postion. I'm still a biter.

Laetitia- I've never heard 'make hay while the sun shines'. I like it.

Ben! You've seriously never heard that idiom? Maybe I'm just old. :-)
