Kumbaya

We had a great arvo/night yesterday. Friends came over and brought a brazier (which is kind of a cage thing on a stand that you make a fire in) and we had a bit of toasted marshmallow/ campfire scenario. the brazier was great- I've gotta me one of those badboys.

In the absence of a BBQ, we made hamburgers inside and ate them around the fire. Good times. All the kids loved it, and we loved it too. Nothing like sitting around a fire with friends.

Would you believe, yesterday I bought myself a fire pit to go on our balcony, for this very purpose! (Firepits are a little more enclosed, which I thought would be better in the wind we sometimes get up at our dizzying heights on level 3.) I looked at it and thought surely a person could make one, then bought it anyway.

Love it.

Good on you for such an awesome purchase. Sounds great. Bunnings?

After extensive research I got it at BBQs galore - a nice coppertone one. Then when I got home with it I discovered these ones on ebay with folding legs, and now I am in a dilemma, of whether one of them might be better ...

Bought the brazier today. Hid it in preparation for Father's Day!
