1. If you were a mythical creature, which creature would you be? - a cross between Pegasus and a unicorn.
2. Has the Great Australian Novel been written yet or not? If so, what is it? - no idea but it's not half the stuff I had to plough through at school.
3. Feelings on peanut butter ...no sugar, no salt, crunchy is best
4. The best way to rid the kitchen of a cockroach is ...hit with thong / other blunt instrument you can leave outside for the rain to wash clean or bug spray if nothing else to hand; if not too squished, sweep up with dustpan and brush and deposit in bin, otherwise sweep up what you can and use kitchen paper / tissue for the rest.
5. You know I'm Australian by my ... use of "G'day" (as I discovered in Germany, yes, we really do say it); "yeah, no" and craving for Vegemite if I've been OS without it (can I take it to NZ / get it there while on holidays?).

4. get a boy to do it for you

5. american ... accent? sense of humor? wish for everything to have a happy ending?

Kim, I think that Possum magic while an excellent book is not a novel but a picture book so cannot be declared the great australian novel.
