A Holiday

Well, tomorrow morning we are headed down the South Coast for a week. I am very, very excited, I've been hanging out for a family break for yonks.  We are just staying in a little house nearby the beach, down around Jervis Bay.

One  wee problem is that the family are all crook, we've all had colds and flus of various degrees for a few weeks. So, that may dampen things somewhat, but I'm really hoping we'll all get back to health enough to enjoy the week. I'm a bad one for building up fever pitch expectations for stuff and then getting bummed when it isn't exactly as pictured. So, gotta rope that in a bit, I think.

But, I'm looking forward to-
-making sandcastles with the girls
-doing some beach jogging and trying to get back into some excercise
-seeing Buddy experience the beach for the 1st time
-eating cheese
-doing a big jig saw puzzle
-reading
-not catching trains
-not drawing Bananas
-not getting up at 5:30
-not leaving my family for the majority of every day
-watching DVD's with E at night.

So, I won't be around here for a week either, but will be back the Monday following. I hope you guys have a great week, and I'll look forward to catching up again.

Have a great holiday!
We've rented a farm cottage a few times down that way, it's real nice.

One thing before you go though: http://theoatmeal.com/comics/apostrophe

Pedro- Thanks bro, have a great time at the snowz!

Rodeo- Thanks mate. And I've got all my apostrophe's sussed now. But by the time I'm back in a week it'll all be gone again. Win some, lose some.

Deb- I'm hoping so. Just looking forward to escaping the city for a bit.

sounds like a perfect holiday. Actually, it sounds like exactly the kind of holiday the husband and I would love!

Have a great time! Jervis Bay is beautiful. Make sure you go to Murray's Beach, and walk all the way to the end (the east end) - lovely little natural sheltered play area that our kids had a great time at, with rock pools, etc.
