The Ear Of Plenty

I do that daddish thing of pretending to pull stuff from the kids' ears, you know, hide something in my hand and put said hand to childs' ear and 'pull out' something. Usually a lolly.

Anyway, I thought it was understood that it was slight of hand, rather than there actually being some sort of lolly storehouse inside the ear canal. Last night I found out apparently not--

Little i: Daddy, can you pull something out of my ear, real?
Me: Not right now, sweety
Little i: Please, Daddy, pull out a lolly, real
Me: But I don't have anything..
Little i: But my ear does!

Oh.
