Back In To The Swing

Tassie was good, it was nice to get away, and great to catch up with my brother again.  A lot of listening to music, eating meat, a very quick swim, some kayaking, a trip up Mt. Wellington, a wander around Salamanka markets.  I'll pop some pictures up soon.

I missed my girls a lot while I was away, so I was also very happy to get home. My Little e cried herself to sleep the first night, cuddling my pyjama top! What a sweetheart.

While I was down there I had the pleasure of meeting Alistair, and having a chat and a coffee together. He's a good bloke, and it was nice to finally meet in 'real life'.  It would be great to meet more of you bloggish folk at some point. Maybe we should plan a massive blogtacular meet n' greet.

Actually I'm getting heart palpitations as I picture that. The highly pressured, socially challenging, potentially awky situation that it could be. Maybe one on one is better.

It was fantastic to finally meet the man behind the mystique. Next time you're down (next year?) we'll grab a meal together. I know a place of 2 that would be right up your alley.

I am smugly sitting back here at my desk knowing that I'm now the envy of all your blog readers.

Ooh yes, very envious here. Both about meeting Alistair and going to Tasmania :)

But like you, the introvert in me is struggling to think about the massive meet and greet part. But there is that other part of me who secretly wishes sometimes they could work the room like an extrovert that says, hey, that would be so cool!

I always love hearing about face to face meet ups between bloggers who've never met in real life before. When I met Wendy face to face, it felt like we'd always known each other. When you put important things in your life out there into blogworld, I guess you do get to know other people pretty well.
