Crazyjedidiah has half my answers.

1. It means a lot to me when I manage to...get nagging chores done and out of the way (current one is to photograph a bunch of stuff from my parents' place to list on ebay).
2. Something you want, but don't need - quilting supplies (magazines, more material)
3. Something you need, but don't want - a job...but then I'd have to give up my 'free' time. Actually, I love working provided it's in the right industry.
4. What do you get more excited about- beginning something, or finishing it? - Generally finishing (partly because it means I can start on the next thing and partly because, if it's taken a while, I'm generally 'over' the doing part).
5. What would you like for Christmas? - A career (because then we could start the process to build a house); quilting supplies ;-).

1. Stop thinking about all the stuff I need to get done and enjoy time with my family. We went to the beach and flew kites for an hour yesterday afternoon, it was great to see everyone enjoying themselves without fighting :)
2. An iPad.
3. New clothes. But not exciting things like beautiful dresses, just everyday shorts, tops and stuff like that.
4. Finishing, definitely. Not that the start isn't exciting too, but it's the sense of achievement at having completed what I set out to do that's the real buzz.
5. An iPad (very unlikely). Have been struggling to think of other ideas though...

1. Bake successfully.

2. Music. I have a list of songs and albums I'd love to own but will never buy for myself. :)

3. Sleep. My to-do list is TOO LONG - no time for naps!

4. I tend to get excited about starting things, which usually then wears off quickly if they take longer than I want them to (I can't learn the guitar in a week, for example. I tried, failed, and have therefore given up). And because I usually abandon things before they're complete, I do get very excited when I manage to finish stuff. I'm talking about big projects - I have no trouble finishing books or things with deadlines.

5. I'd like for all of my families to go present-free.

Sorry I'm so late with this one..

Cj- I guess an ereader helps with having no space for more books.

Laetitia- I'd love to get into listing stuff on ebay, but it all seems like a fair bit of hassle.

Pedro-oh yeah, nothing like finishing a board. Finished my last Bananas one on friday. Felt awesome.

Karen- We've got to invest in some kites..

Al-I'm with you, beginnings are best. It's usually downhill from there!

Belle-I love cooking, and am fairly confident in the kitchen... except for baking. Baking is stressful. So much can go wrong. Beat something wrong and you wrek the whole thing.

Kim-Not excatly sure what orthotics are, but yeah, they don't sound as exciting as new dresses.

Simone-Yep, always picked you as a 'beginning' person.

Deb- I'm very thankful that E cleans our shower.

Dawn- Great to see you guys on the weekend!Praying that all goes well.

Tasmanian- Definitely empathise with your first answer. It feels great when I occasionally manage!
