Locked Out

Had a fun little adventure this arvo. I got a call from E, who was frantic, because she had locked herself out of the unit while hanging out the clothes. Problem was, little e was locked inside...

It was pretty scary, it's the sort of awful thing I have bad dreams about. Raced home from work, unlocked the door, raced back to work -- a 2.5 hour round trip. In an hour and a half I'll travel home again. Deja vu!

Anyways, luckily little e was asleep in her cot the whole time, and was none the wiser.

luckily she was able to get ahold of you at work - that's one of those scary things we always worry about as parents!

That is scary. Glad you were able to get there before 'e' woke up....I read a great story with the kids tonight about a little boy who excitedly shuts his front door while his mum and baby sister are just about to come in...and the keys are inside....really cute story - it too had a happy ending.

yeah, it was a relief that I could get there, and also that E had her phone on her too. Also good that e was asleep. It could have all been a lot worse!
