Slow Friday

It's going to be one of those days. There are only two of us here at work, the bosses are out doing voice-records for upcoming episodes. So, it's been a bit of a slow start:) But hey, you gotta have a bit of a rest now and then. That's what I'm telling myself anyway.

Have you got a busy day ahead of you? I hope you all are having a good one.

I've got an exam this arvo. Once that's done however, it's going to be very relaxed. I'm thinking a bottle of wine and some time with Soph. Bring it on.

This morning I have a small group/Bible study with some of my dearest friends at my house.

Today is Halloween. Which means I will be heading out to a Halloween Parade through the elementary school where two of my boys attend. All the kids dress in their costumes and parade through the halls.

This evening there will be trick-or-treating. We invited a couple of families to join us since we have a great neighborhood for it. So I think it will be a bit chaotic here this evening.

Is Halloween celebrated in Australia? Its big here in the US. Not my favorite holiday but it is fun for the kids to dress up and get candy.

I guess that's fair enough, Dad.

Hey lu-- That sounds like a nice day. We don't really do anything much over here for Halloween. It sort of comes and goes without you noticing. In some ways I like the idea of it, I think as a kid it would be really fun. I guess you just have to be careful about it-- youhear some nasty trick or treat stories.

I don't mind the sort of fun/sinister thing of dressing up and decorating with scary stuff. I think when you are a kid, that is fun and harmless.
