At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery.
They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?" They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.
But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?"
"No one, sir," she said.
"Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."

Benno. That's lovely. Sobering almost.
But mate, my point on the whole matter has nothing to do with the sins of this girl I chastise.
In fact it is quite the opposite.
mate, i don't care what she has done because it is nothing in comparisonn to most people i associate with during my day to day. Honestly.
The point I was / am trying to make is that there are so many other people more deserving of this 'compassion' you talk about , than this poor example of a mother / wife.
She is put on a pedestal by some, scorned by others while she hasn't really had that hard a time with anything.
Big deal, broken marriages, bad mum, poor public perception (boo hoo). I've got better things to do with my stones.
The real issue is that poeple today just look past the unheard strugglers who have REAL issues to contend with, and real battles with emotional and physical problems because the provoked tears of some self deprecating tart on the television caught their attention.
I'm sorry mate, she doesn't even get a look in.
Don't be sad brethra. If we didn't feel strongly about our opinions and discuss / convey them, the world would be all strawberry shortcake and do you really want that?...
Ah, stoning. Better to get stoned or to be stoned? That is the question :)
Pedro you should take in the lessons of this story after what you said about Britney Spears.
