Wow you have some strong feelings about Bridget Jones! How do you know you won't like it if you haven't read it?
Hiya Lu--yep, burl and whirl are close friends, and squizz means 'look'. Maybe it only has one 'z'...
Ok, well sorry for my angst. You are right, having not read it I guess I can't judge.
It is purely based on the loathsome movies (that seem to be on tv every couple of months) that I am judging from.
Yeah well I probably shouldn't judge you either because based on the aforementioned "loathsome" movies (okay, I've only seen the first one which hasn't inspired me to see the second) I have no desire to read the book either. But I think my lack of desire to read it is a little less strong than yours! ;)
