Tweet Flaming Tweet

As you can see, still not a lot to say. So you have to bear my micro-blogging pain, and deal with tweets rather than posts.

Hey, can someone answer my question-- what is Twitter? I still don't know. Do you do it from your phone, or is it a website?

It's a website, and you can do it from your computer, or your iPhone if you have Internet coverage.

Basically you "tweet", which means you write a sentence about anything you want, and then people can choose to follow you and get updates on what you are "tweeting". So when you log on, you essentially get an update of what 50 people are doing (provided you are "following" 50 people).

I know. It all sounds a bit inane.

I had to get an account for work (promise!) and its a bit weird. I only ever "tweet" about work stuff for stories I'm doing. But you can't choose who "follows" you, so lots of people will get updates from me about things they probably couldn't care less about.

But then again, I couldn't care less about what person X is eating for lunch and where they bought it, so I guess I shouldn't feel too bad.

Oh, okay.. Thanks for explaining Soph. It's good that you have it for work, because if anyone critisizes you, you can hold up yr hands and say, hey, I HAD to. I'd like to check it out, but would like an air-tight 'had to for work' excuse to do so..
