These are great! I do need a magnifying glass though. I remember the beach one- you must have posted it before.

Hi Raz, thanks for stopping by, and for the link to your blog. You do nice work--I particularly like your street scenes.

Do you sell your work, Ben? These are terrific.

Ben McLaughlin said...

thanks:) I have given some away, but never sold any. I would like to some ways down the track when I get a bit more 'acomplished'.

I want to give more away though, as lots of them are just lined up on the floor in rows, gathering dust.

I would definitely be interested in either buying a couple or (if you are serious about giving them away!) paying postage to Melbourne. We are just moving house and I have been thinking we should get some 'real art' to put on our walls. It's mainly van Gogh posters at the moment, I'm afraid! If you'd be kind enough to consider that, send me an email - joannac at deakin dot edu dot au.

wow, thanks joanna, that was a nice comment to read.

My first thought is 'you've seen them as thumbnails, you probably won't like them when you see the full scale!' If you click on the 'painting' label at the bottom of the post, that'll take you to bigger versions of most of these.

Let me know if any particular ones grab you. A few I'll keep for sentimental reasons, but in general I'd love them to go to a good home...

Great! I really like the two still life scenes on tables - the one with the apple and the one with the eggs. And the peace lily and the tree scenes in the top right hand corner and the middle bottom row. And the beach scene. Quite a lot of them, actually!
