We finally got down to see the Misty Moderns exhibition. It was amazing! It completely rekindled my love for painting, and especially, my hero Clarice Beckett. I was so excited to see about 15 of her pictures in the flesh. They were absolutely beautiful.My Mum and Dad came too, and they helped a lot with the kid wrangling, so it was a really cool experience. I feel really interested again in painting, which is great, as I haven't painted since Christmas.
It also inspired me to get into gear and start work on a second blog, which I'll tell you more about soon. I'm very excited about it..

It really was a great exhibition. Very ambient and misty... I was expecting a rather small collection and was pleasantly surprised by the volume of paintings there. Had to order the catalogue separately though, as they had run out of copies.
