Origin III: Finally A Good Game

I was very unenthused about State of Origin III last night, but it actually turned out to be an awesome game, a great one to watch. The Blues were like a completely different team, far more confident and working together a lot better. Pity it took them until game 3 to get their act together. Also, there was just some amazing stuff, like Justin Hodges' near try.

The fights towards the end were pretty on the nose. I have mixed feelings though- on one hand, it is such a physical game, there is bound to be aggression. On the other hand, the way they all rushed in, obviously loving the idea of a fistfight, and the way Gus Gould was practically salivating about it, sort of turned my stomach.
