So I had this other sweet idea in regards to liking online interaction, and stuff like that. This idea may sound lame at first, but hear me out, soften your heart and ponder the sweetness of it.
It's kind of like show and tell, but for grown-ups. Amazed? Understandably. See, I like when people talk about something they love and are passionate about. I find that an attractive trait in people.
So peep this. Readers email me a photo of something of theirs, or something they like, or a photo from childhood, or a holiday, or whatever. And they write a short thing (short and sweet is the way to go, so people don't get bored and stop reading)about what it is and why they love it. And then I'll post it.
How good's that? I might call it something great like iShow n' Tell 2.0. And to show my commitment, even if you all think it's a bog idea, I'll still do it myself. That's how much of a lone gun I really am.
But seriously. Good idea, huh.

This idea totally rocks. I'm in!
tops!
Hey Ben, I like it! I am going to send you something this weekend - ahh, maybe ... I don't know whether I've ever told you about this, but I actually can't comment on blogspot blogs from work :( - so I miss out on lots of comment fun because I can't get in.
When I made myself pathetic and posted a love song a while back I thought 'ah hah, maybe I can launch a blog "love song dedication" thing' - you know, people could dedicate songs to other people on my blog, just like on the radio, maybe even propose on there, and it would be all class - that is maybe not such a cool idea.
Idea sounds great!!
Ali, please do send something. I'm away from my work email this week, but it would be a great surprise when I returned.
The love song thing does sound very classy. You'd be the Richard 'love god' Mercer of the blog world.
Well, I'll do one this week so it's not so scary, and I'll tell y'all my email adress and stuff.
OK, I will see if I can drum something up - not so sure about the "passionate" aspect though.
Yeah, I could get these love posts from people, prod and pry till they were sharing their soul, put words in their mouths and feelings in their hearts and ramp up the drama ... Anyway, you sound suspiciously like you know about "love song dedication". ;)
Looking forward to show and tell ...
sounds fun :)
