What do you do with your old tapes? Maybe it's less a problem for you Gen Y kids who went straight to CD, but for my generation, it's hard to let go of those good old high school mix-tapes.I have a massive box of tapes, and I don't know what to do with them. I don't really play them, and would happily get rid of the album ones that I could eventually track down on CD. But the mix-tapes are my sticking point.
How can I let go of those beautiful compilations? Rare jewels. Songs from friends. Songs taped off the radio I could never find again. How can I say goodbye to these things that are so precious, but so redundant?

Get yourself a player that can record onto USB or some other card - convert to CD. I have to do this with mine too.
Sounds complicated, but is probably a good idea.
