Jeff- I wouldn't mind a t-shirt with Woodstock on it. We are talking Peanuts, and not 60's music festival aren't we?

Simone- Yeah, finding babysitters can turn the best invite into a chore real quick.

Pedro- Wow, insect repellent. That's a gift that keeps on giving.

Beth- So how many elephant figurines do you actually have?

Nathan- Cool I'd like to have a bash at making icecream. Post some pix when you get it going.

Amy- Oh, I trust you. You don't have to sell me a moustache on a stick, it sells itself.

Sarah- Were the fireworks good? I'm kinda at the 'seen one fireworks seen em all' stage of life I think, these days.

Christine- I have no idea what this slinky machine of yours would look like, but it sounds both strange and intriging.

Maso- Wow, physics. Sounds um.. interesting. Yeah I ended up on a couch watching McAllef as well.

Sophg- Interesting, interesting.. I would like to see the Beach Boys, but it saddens me that it's only two of the old guys, and not really my favourite two! If Brian Wilson was participating, I'd be in. Seen him play on his own twice, which was awesome.

Georgina- We got given tickets to Wicked as well. I must have watched Wizard of Oz about 30 times (literally) with little e over the past year, so it'll be interesting.

Lu- Thanks, nice to be back. We have Scene It as well, though not a Disney version. It's a good game.

1. A Christmas present you received - we got a book written by Ian's aunt. We didn't want "stuff" and fortunately our loved ones tend follow our wishes on this. Mum gives donations (to an organisation that we mutually support) in our name so we get a tax receipt.
2. A Christmas present you gave - the fact that we made it safely into the Brisbane area; we're not keen on cluttering up other people's houses with "stuff"
3. Your New Years Eve in a nutshell - go to bed around 10pm; be woken up at 1am by a domestic down the road. Ah, I just lurve the silly season and the excess consumption of alcohol that enables me to have an unwanted window on my neighbours' private lives. Sigh.
4. Are you saying 'Two Thousand and Ten' or 'Twenty Ten'? - Dunno; talk to me in person and hear what I say.
5. Is your first reaction to an invite (of any kind) positive or negative? Does it stay that way? - Positive (ooh, ooh, someone thinks I'm cool enough to invite!) Depends on the expected expense vs enjoyment ratio (weddings generally remain positive even though they can be expensive)
