1. Ever broken a bone? 2. List all the nicknames different people have for you 3. A movie you really want to see on the big screen 4. What'd you have for brekky? 5. Do you have a diary for '10?
1. Nope. Too cautious to ever really get hurt. 2. Macca, BJ, Benny, Benny B, Bear, McGlokko's, Ben Jovi, Benno 3. Paranormal Activity 4. Museli with honey on it 5. No, I write stuff in a notebook, along with everything else.
1. Yes, my pinky on my left hand - twice! (netball injury both times)
2. ruthie, rebel, jenno, reg, mrs baza,....i used to get called 'streuth', but i hated it, along with some other ones I haven't written here, so I just never answered when people called me streuth, and eventually those people stopped calling it.
3. Toy Story 3
4. vegemite roll - we're out of milk, and i have no car today....going to be a looooong day at home methinks
5. no, I don't really use a diary, other than my mobile calendar, or my wall calendar...which means i often forget things, but i carry too many things already, i don't have room for a diary and pen.
1. wrist, foot x2 2. jake (a family thing), simmy, sim, mone. 3. Torchwood, the movie. (no. it doesn't exist) 4. Weetbix and bran 5. No. No calender either. I was admiring my friend's very cool calender - where every family member has their own column. Thought I'd get one. But my friend shook her head and told me I'd never use it. After that, good intentions all have seemed futile.
1. Left wrist (was pushed over while roller-skating on my 10th birthday), index finger on my right hand (pushed over by a kid in the playground in year 5) and my big-toe on my right foot (stamped on during an indoor soccer game) :) 2. Chris, Xena, Chris-ma-tine, Spunky. 3. Bright Star 4. A coffee and a muesli bar 5. Just an online diary, thanks g-mail
1. Skull, but Mum being a nurse didn't take me to hospital! 2. Sah, Millie, Sezzie 3. Yay Ruth - Toy Story 3 4. Cheerios (a holiday cereal at my parents!) 5. iCal in my phone
1: Toe stuck in the spokes of moving bicycle, arm broken skating backwards in a game of hockey with no-one anywhere near me. Looked quite the fool. The April fool, as it were.*
2: Kutz, Kutzey, Fat Russian, Commie Rat, Square bear, Gute, Cut-it-off, ... they just get worse from there.
3. Aliens
4. Sultana Bran with my nephew. He didn't eat his breakfast of weet-bix though.
5. Yes. Month to an open. Can't stand any other kind.
1. A foot (I think), and a toe. But they barely count. 2. Smiley, Smiz, Nath, Feather (but only from my little sister and it's meant ironically - as in "light as"). 3. I'm seeing Avatar this evening. 4. Nothing yet. 5. Two, a personal one that my wife bought me for college and stuff (that I probably won't use) and one that I ordered for work knowing that I was leaving that my replacement might use. I also have an iPhone and Google Calendar.
1. The end of my tailbone is pointing totally the wrong way so I guess I must've broken it at some point. Probably by falling out of a tree.
2. Technically Amy is a nickname given it isn't actually my name. Also Miss Amy, Will, Millie, Aims (ugh, I hate that one).
3. Alice in Wonderland I think will be fantastic
4. Crispix. Apparently they have wholegrains. Perhaps it's in the packaging.
5. We have a 'family' diary which is supposed to keep track for both of us. Not sure it is actually gonna happen though. We tend to use our iPhones mostly.
2. Zac, Zachary, Izaachary, Ice, that guy with the glasses.
3. Toy Story 3. As a side point not only do I love Pixar movies so much that I've seen them all about 10 times, but they also conveniently release their latest DVD a couple of days before my birthday the past few years. Yesterday, I was given the Blu-Ray/DVD combo of Up, which allows me to watch the DVD version in preparation for when I get a Blu-Ray player. Ben, Sarah doesn't want to waste her spending money on the Toy Story 1+2 double feature in 3D. You keen?
4. Froot-Loops - Leftovers from my choice of breakfast birthday cereal
1. Nope 2. Maso, Steve, Stevo, sk 3. Maybe Sherlock Holmes. 4. Bowl of Cornflakes, then Bovril on toast, glass of milk 5. Microsoft Outlook on my work computer ... and it syncs with my phone.
1. Yes...both pinkies, jaw fractured by dentist (not planned), nose broken by doctor (planned). 2. beth ann, betty, bethy, libby. 3. Avatar 4. scrambled eggs 5. no
1. Oh yeah. So, when I was 2 I apparently broke my leg. Never seen any evidence, but apparently it happened. My toe has a giant kink in it, so it MUST have been broken at some point. And the killer.... are you ready???
When I was 24 (i.e. far too old to not know better), I fell down several stairs, in the dark, and broke, not one, but both of my elbows. It was extremely painful (apparently elbows are), and extremely interesting (you try brushing your teeth, using the amenities with no ability to clean yourself). It was also extremely funny, particularly now. 2. George (most common), Georgie (by some guys), Georgeous (I like this one), Georgasaurus Rex (not quite so fond), and Big Bird when I was a kid (please don't call me that). 3. Hmm, got nothing. 4. Banana, yoghurt, muesli and skim milk, in a smoothie 5. I had a diary, then lost it, bought a diary, then returned it, was given a diary, and started using it, before finally buying the current one. I kinda of had an existential diary crisis this year.
1. no but a few bad scars. 2. Was called BP as a kid because i liked the smell of petrol. 3. Any movie with free babysitting. 4. oats and sultanas 5. a month to open and almost something electronic
1. Ever broken a bone? - Tail bone (falling off a horse onto my butt - if anyone says that the tailbone is a vestige of evolution I'll happily break theirs for them and see if they don't need it!); left forearm (falling off a welsh mountain pony; fortunately I'm right handed); two toes on left foot (falling off beam in PE; was out of commission for hockey and then we got into the semi-finals...coincidence?) 2. List all the nicknames different people have for you - Teesha; Teesh; Possum (Dad's pet name for me) + some family ones that don't bear repeating. 3. A movie you really want to see on the big screen - Avatar in 3D; we tried a week or so ago and it was sold out; I think we have a bit of time. 4. What'd you have for brekky? - Muesli, fresh mango from the loaded tree we scored on moving :-) 5. Do you have a diary for '10? - Yes, a slimline one to reduce the weight in my backpack.
Pedro- I thought Avatar would be crap, but I've heard lots of people now say it's really good. Did you like it?
Ruth-I hope your day yesterday wasn't too long and painful, stuck at home.
Simone- How would you feel about me calling you Simmy? Be careful how you answer because if you protest too much, it may be a bit red-rag-to-bull-esque.
Christine- Gosh, you were really victimised as a kid! And on your birthday too..
Sarah- Nice- 'don't worry dear, it's just a cracked skull, I'll pop a bit of calamine lotion on it, you'll be fine.'
Bonnie- Yeah I really wanted to see WTWTA too, and kinda missed the boat. Still gotta se it.
Kutz- And this is why I neither ride bikes nor iceskate backwards. Or forwards.
Nathan- Tell me what you think of Avatar, I'm interested.
Amy-'totally pointing the wrong way' -the mind boggles!
Izaac-Y'know, I might be interested in that. I love Pixar, but kinda missed the first few films they made. Only really seen bits of Toy Story. Keep me in mind, that'd be fun.
Maso-Mate, what is Bovril, and why is it on your toast? I vaguely remember my Grandma having bovril, but I thought it was some weird kind of old perons drink. Like watery gravy or something foul like that.
Lu- I try using planners, but then by about the third week of Jan, I give up, and there'll be a random update mabye around June, and then one last one around November. I gave up.
Beth-Oh man, by the DENTIST?? This is why I don't go to the dentist.
Georgina- That sounds terrible! Two elbows at once. The practicalites of that must have been so frustrating. Were they both in casts?
Chris- Heh! BP is a great nickname. Yeah, I kinda like the smell too.
Laetitia- This is why I don't ride Welsh Mountain Ponies.
Yeah, apparently you can make a drink with Bovril. Bt I've never done that. I like it spread on toast ... like Vegemite.
(There were a couple of hard years a while back ... They stopped importing it to Australia during the whole Mad Cow thing. Terrible. My aunt in the UK sent us a few little packages to tide us over, as I recall...)

Thanks Stevo- will reconsider the bovril. May even buy some to review it.
