'Sup, Twenny Ten

Hey friends!

Happy new year! 2010. The future is now. It's good to be back blogging- I have missed it, and I've missed you guys. No, really I have. You, you, and especially YOU. I'm excited about starting my third year of blogging.

What, may you ask, have I got to offer you this year. Well, come now Valued Reader, don't be like that. The more pertinent question you should be asking is what haven't I got to offer you.

It was awesome to have three weeks off work. This morning is my first day back, which hurts a little. But, only 49 weeks until my next holiday. It was so great to spend so much time with E and the girls, and I think it's really done us all good, and will help the family to start the year on the right foot.

The first week was kind of Christmas mentalness -- stress, crowds, shopping, family do's etc, then the second week we went down the coast, which was really nice, and then this past week we've just been at home, doing this and that.

What did you get up to over the break?

Glad you're back.

I went to the farm and I blogged.

hung out at home with the family for two weeks while the boys were on break from school

so weird to read your about your holidays. here it is winter. most people travel to family celebrations and then hunker down back home to try and stay warm.

Beth- Sounds good!

Nathan- I'd like to go to a farm..

Lu- Yeah, I know, I find it weird when I read American blogs, and think it's so strange that the big break from school is in the middle of your year rather than at the end, near Christmas.

Gotta say, I definitely envy your white Christmasses though.

Welcome back :)

Might actually run into you in RL soon. We've been accepted as tenants in Leichhardt, and hope to move this weekend. Ah, sweet caffe latte, how I've missed thee.

Oh, and you, too, Ben.

Sort, cull, pack, repeat; clean, clean, clean, repeat; farewells, drive; unpack, shift furniture, cull, visit father in hospital, repeat; go to CMS Summer School at Mt Tamborine (ah, sweet temperate days, how I miss thee); unpack, shift furniture, cull, fend off cult members looking to recruit the neighbourhood newbies; cardiologist app't; unpack, cull; TAFE assignments, visit father in hospital, repeat.

Oh, you mean Christmas was in there somewhere? Hmm, I think we saw Ian's family - it's a blur.
