Wait For Me, Bandwagon
I'm wondering whether I should try and get into the World Cup a little bit, at least try and keep track of it. Not to bandwagon jump, but to avoid being bored and annoyed any time it gets mentioned.
Should have scheduled breaks for those weeks at the start of the year before anyone realised why you wanted those nights off. I remember a semester of pacific history with Clive Moore at UQ that had lectures from 5-8 on Wednesday nights. Driving home down Coronation drive at 8.15, looking across at Lang Park while listening to the game on the radio.

Because I'm a nice guy I've just posted my guide to enjoying the World Cup (or faking it).
Nor worth the effort, after all, it's still just soccer.
If Australia made the final I'd watch that.
Game 2 on Wednesday night is where it's at.
Thanks Nath, you're a good gent.
Gary, I like your bad attitude. Heh!
ps- What is a professing Christian man to do when Game 2 falls on Bible Study night? Doh!

After this morning you can jump right off the bandwagon and resume normal daily life.
