I don't think it counts as a 'frolic' when it's twelve degrees out and we've had 20mm of rain in the last 24 hours after 150mm in August. I don't even think you can call it a 'frolic' when you're hip deep in mud. Enjoy your weather.
Thanks for the picture and for the encouragement. We love Wind in the Willows in this home and we spent a good deal of the day outside. Being American born, one of the things that I delight in is the season changes in Australia and the way that September first is declared the first day of spring... so it is!
I just discovered your blog, Ben, and have enjoyed "catching up" with you a bit... hope that your move goes smoothly! Love to Eliza!
Gary- Yeah we are getting some of that weather today.. the skies are angry.
Dawn! Great to hear from you:) I'm excited to see you have a blog! I look forward to reading. Your kids are beautiful, I hope everything's going well. Say hi to Peter for me.
Does Spring not start at the start of a month in the States?? Why is it different?

Hmmm....we're winding down our summer and about a month away from fall.
Well enjoy the warmth while you can!

Actually...we just had our third hottest summer ever and also the second wettest....we missed the record on the rain by .2 inches.
