E at Cronulla


Ahh, it's good to be living near the water. We went to Cronulla on the weekend, on hopefully the first of many trips to the beach over the summer.

It'd be kinda good if the kids weren't absolutely terrified of the water though..

Yeah, I guess it's a bit scary when you're really not used to it. It's not like I was taking them out in the breakers though.. I was simply trying to get them to wet their toes!

Go sometime when the tide is coming in and build sandcastles. They'll get used to the sound and the ebb and flow. The water will gradually come closer and probably they'll be okay. I'm an "expert" on helping kids to get used to stuff - one of our kids usually says "NO!!!" whenever he meets something new.
