So last week I submitted two paintings into the exhibition for the Thirroul Seaside and Arts Festival (the first competition I've ever entered).
Then this afternoon I got a letter in the post to say my two pictures were accepted and are going to be in the exhibition! I'm pretty chuffed.
I was nervous opening the letter- I felt like Charlie Bucket opening his chocolate bar to see whether he'd won a golden ticket.

Well, I did design one friends' tattoo years and years ago (some guff from the Book of Kells). Apart from that? No.
