Excursion

Woo hoo, work excursion!

We are going to see How To Train Your Dragon this morning.

I've heard good things about it, so it should be fun.

I enjoyed it. Only about 5 minutes too long for me.

Is the 3D thing the way of the future or just a passing phase? I oooed and ahed for the first few minutes then pretty much forgot about it.

Will it distract movie makers from the story - which surely matters more?

I hope it's just a fad. I find it kind of annoying and gives me a headache..

You can only go if you have read the book first!

Cool - we saw this last week.

I remember the first 3D fad - the one with the red and blue lenses on the oversized glasses.

I also find the new form gives me a slight headache. I think it's due to the fact that I have to wear them over my regular glasses so I have extra pressure over the ears, plus the lenses are way too narrow for me - I have to keep moving my head up and down, rather than my eyes, to see the action on screen.

"Potia" Veryu hi, I like it!

Funnily enough, I read the book a few years back. A coleague found it in the library, and we started developing some designs and story, to pitch to the company, with the idea of making a series from it. It never really got off the ground. So it was weird to then see a movie come out! We were like "hey, WE had that idea!"

Laetitia- I can imagine the glasses being pretty annoying on top of normal glasses..
