The Path of Your Commands

Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. (1 Corinthians 9:26)

I run in the path of your commands, for you have set my heart free (Psalms 119:32)

I guide you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths.
When you walk, your steps will not be hampered;
when you run, you will not stumble.
(Proverbs 4:11-12)

Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
(Isaiah 40:31)

They will soar on wings like eagles I hear this verse a lot. What exactly does that mean?

I don't think there's some hidden meaning, I think it's just meant to be straight forward symbolism. That's how Iv'e always taken it anyway. As an eagle soars on it's wings, with strength and power and endurance, so will we 'soar' and go the distance if we hope in God. Do you think that's it?
