Speech Diary

Yesterday I had my last monthly speech therapy session for a while. It was okay, and got me a little bit out of my doldrums and defeatist attitude.

I think I'm feeling a bit of relief that I don't have to prove myself to them in a months time, and feel the pressure of showing that I've made progress. I guess that's not really a good relief.

In a month there is going to be a booster day, where anyone who has done the treatment before can come and get a 'top-up'. I think that will be good. Then hopefully in August I'll be able to do this on-line cognitive development program to work on the psychological side of it all.

Arrrggghhh. It's a tough old road, this thing, that's for sure.
