Ruth- Heh, I thought you were just being self-confident and listing yourself as a celeb. Yeah, early mornings are when my mind is most clear, and I can do stuff.

Soph- Yeah those Baldwins..how many are there? 17? They are Legion.

Izaac-I like that quote, 'just cook it'. You do get sick of the amount of choices these days.

Amy- I love markets. I could wander around markets every day. And garage sales. Bliss.

Beth- Yeah, the one small downside of the sea is the fairly strong chance that you will get eaten..

Pedro- I had to google pillion to know what one was. I now know. It's a good word.

Nathan- I thought you might say 'crowds'. You seem like a crowd person.

Guthers- If you look at him, Benecio Del Torro looks like a bulky Spanish caricature of Brad Pitt. Trully.

Wendy-my mind boggled briefly when you said 'tank', but I figure you just mean a water tank or something.

Ben McLaughlin said...

Laetitia-I like rivers, but get disconcerted when you can't see the bottom, or what is potentially lurking at the bottom. When I'd swim in the NT, I'd always imagine a million massive crocs, just lying on the bottom, looking up at me..

Kristina-Wow, that is awesome that you can see the snowcapped Rocky Mountains from yr window. I'd love to see that. I've not really ever seen proper snow.

Hicksy- Ahh, Living Colour! Those were the days..

Sophg-mmm new coffee machine. Exciting.

Georgina-I've never scuba dived. Would like to, it looks amazing.

Maso-Yeah, free lunches can always make a dud thing good.

Lu- i get those two mixed up a bit as well. I'd like to experience trick or treating, it looks fun.

Mark- Happy Birthday to your little girl, mate.

Laetitia :-) said...

But Ben, aren't you concerned about all the creatures in the ocean looking at taking you out (in the mafia sense) for lunch? Things like sharks?

And I wouldn't swim in most NQ rivers - too many scaly-backed swamp dogs; but I don't normally swim in the ocean up here either - too many stingers.

I actually had Mary River - where the worst creatures are eels or perhaps a curious lung-fish - in mind.

Yea Ben, a water tank. Though I'm sure my boys would be stoked if we managed to find a broken down shooting-kind-of tank to store in our front yard, the neighbours and the landlord might not be though. Funny, we're not allowed to park a vehicle permanently on the grass, but the landlord has allowed this tank to lie there for more than 4 months now!
