I got up at 5:30 this morning so I could spend 45 minutes out in the garden. I'm a bit bonsai-obsessed right now, so any chance to get out and fiddle about, repotting and pruning, I'm there.
At the moment my plants look more like stumps and twigs in pots, but I have a VISION! These babies are going to come up awesome, just you wait.

Yes maybe!
Ben, I've awarded you The Versatile Blogger award on my blog today. http://mmuser.blogspot.com/2011/09/passing-on-blog-love.html.
It's your turn to pass it on.
Good luck bonsai-ing the Bougainvillea - those things take over the world, given half a chance.
Yep, that Bouganvillia was taking over my father in law's place, it was knocking down a bicg arch way. Took about an hour to dig it up. they can make beautiful bonsais though. New growth will sprout just below the cut and will eventually be shaped into a great display of small branches. That's the goal, anyways.
