Bear vs. Porcupine

Great episode of Man vs. Wild last night, as The Bear conquered Namibia.

Highlight: When he succumbed to the peer pressure of the bushmen, and went into a big hole to trample and kill a massive, angry porcupine.

I had no idea porcupines were big. I wondered how the barefooted bushmen would have gone trampling it.

I know, he was scary too.. I thought they were kinda like echidnas, but they are much more ferocious. Though I spose you can't blame him, the way they were prodding him, in his own home.

My husband has recently discovered "Man Vs. Wild" and I am now forced to endure episode upon episode of eye-ball eating, blood-sucking, nude ice-swimming...

We have even been watching all the interviews on you tube including the "alpha course" promotions and interviews with Nicky Gumbell (the Alpha guy). I think it is great that Bear is promoting his Christian faith, but can you believe he did a 35 min interview about it without once saying "Jesus" - a bit disappointing really.
