Movie Buffs?

We are having a 'date day' tomorrow, which we are very excited about. My parents are looking after little e for the day so we can use up some movie tickets we have, and just spend some time focused on one another (and/or a movie screen).

We have Palace tickets and are considering either Burn After Reading or Brideshead Revisited. Has anyone seen either and could make a recommendation?

I enjoyed 'Burn After Reading' but you have to like the Coen brothers films.
Fair bit of language & tab bit of violence, but an extremely clever plot.. and Brad Pitt's character will undoubtedly make you laugh out loud. :)

I've seen Brideshead... it depends what you're after.

It has homoerotic themes, and quite a bit of commentary on the catholic church. So it's not everyone's cup of tea.

I think if you haven't seen the 80s telemovie, or read the book, it may not be the best thing to see.

But then again, you might like it. It's also quite long (I think 2.5 hrs?)

Burn after reading was crazy.

Especially when Malcovich's character started hacking into this guys head with an axe...
